Intersolar 2008 Trade Fair
Silicon CPV plc launched its innovative and ground-breaking SI-Con™ range of products at the Munich Intersolar 2008 Trade Fair. During this important three day event the Si-Con stand received an overwhelming amount of interest from visitors from around the world. Our enthusiastic team were kept very busy demonstrating the new 120X and 4X concentrator modules and explaining the technology and benefits. The innovative design and incredibly low cost per Watt of these modules as compared to competitor products drew a huge number of positive comments from everyone who saw them.
Intersolar is the world’s largest solar technology trade fair and the annual meeting place for everyone in the international solar Industry. It was felt by our show team and many visitors that SiliconCPV plc had one of the busiest stands in the entire eight hall exhibition as can be seen in the photographs below...

One or the highlights of our stand was the demonstration of our patented prismatic concentrator lens (shown below). Unlike other concentrator lenses our prismatic lens produces a very rectangular focus of solar energy. This results in a very even energy distribution which reduces hotspots and ensures that the cells operate at their maximum efficiency. |
