Alan Seedhouse has recently joined Silicon CPV plc as Test and Measurements Director. He brings a wealth of experience in many fields including electronics, quality assurance, project management and software development. His range of skills and experience are particularly suited to the on-going development and implementation of CPV technologies.

His experience includes working for the UK Home Office designing and implementing systems for the London Police and Fire Brigade radio communication systems. Projects included the design and implementation of a model communications system (simulator) used for training purposes.

He was involved with the design, testing and implementation of a specialized heating system used for moulding internal panels for the British Concorde aircraft.

Later in his career he became heavily involved with the newly emerging IT industry and was instrumental in setting up one of the first successful third party IT maintenance Companies in the UK.

All of his skills and experience became beneficial when he joined Akhter Computers in 1989. Working in many departments of the Company he helped to drive the Company to its current successful position. He implemented the ISO 9000 quality system within the Company and worked to develop a very healthy business relationship with the UK MoD which still exists today.

More recently he headed up the software development team within Akhter and launched a number of unique vertical market software products which are still in great demand.

His continued interest in new challenges has finally led him to take on his new role within Silicon CPV as Test and Measurements Director.
